La 4e édition des Pornhub Awards se déroulera le 23 Mars 2022.

Mais cette année, Pornhub réinvente la remise des prix. Les Pornhub Awards 2022 récompenseront les nominés préférés des fans avec des prix en espèces tout en soutenant également des organisations à but non lucratif de l’industrie du divertissement pour adultes avec des dons totalisant un total de1 million de dollars.

Pornhub a donc pris le budget consacré généralement à un événement à grande échelle et a réinvesti cet argent dans la communauté : avec des prix en espèces aux artistes interprètes ou exécutants, ainsi que des dons à des organisations à but non lucratif de grande envergure dans l’industrie du divertissement pour adultes. Il s’agit notamment de : SWOP USA, un réseau national de justice sociale axé sur l’élimination de la stigmatisation et de la violence envers les personnes qui se livrent au commerce du sexe par l’éducation et le plaidoyer ; et APAC, l’Adult Performer Advocacy Committee, une organisation dirigée par et pour des artistes adultes qui plaident pour l’amélioration de la sécurité et des conditions de travail dans l’industrie du divertissement pour adultes.

Pour rappel Pornhub a toujours fait différemment des autres récompenses de l’industrie – Pas de juges ou de comités de décision ici, juste un jury composé des visiteurs quotidiens de Pornhub. Les awards sont entièrement basées sur les données statistiques : les prix étant attribuées à ceux que vous avez recherchés, visionnés et admirés le plus sur Pornhub cette année. Plus de 140 millions de visiteurs quotidiens et plus de 55 milliards de recherches déterminent qui remportera un trophée à l’issue de la cérémonie. En plus des catégories choisies par les visiteurs du site, il y a également nombre de trophées ouverts aux votes des fans.

NEW YORK – (February 25, 2022) – Pornhub, the premier online destination for adult entertainment, today announced the fourth annual Pornhub Awards, flipping the format on its head to reward fan favorite nominees with cash prizes and support the vital non-profit organizations in the adult entertainment industry with donations totalling $1 million. The reimagined digital event recognizes the efforts of the most beloved performers in the industry and celebrates the biggest and best in each of Pornhub’s unconventional categories, as well as the top channels and most popular networks.

In celebration of this year’s Awards, Pornhub today released a high energy announcement trailer featuring Pornhub Ambassadors Asa Akira, Kira Noir and Natassia Dreams as well as premier models Abella Danger, Angela White, Emily Willis, Riley Reid, Dante Colle, Ricky Johnson, Gwen Adora, LuxuryGirl and Rawr ItsBen alongside this year’s awards mascot, Mr. Banana, who embodies Pornhub’s spirited enthusiasm toward the adult community and its approach to philanthropy.

Nominees have been announced on pornhub.com/awards. Using video views and porn star searches to determine winners based on popularity, the Pornhub Awards are the only awards show that are entirely data-driven, making them the most democratic awards show in history. Users are also encouraged to further support their own personal favorites by casting votes in the various fan voting categories. Fan voting will take place strictly on the official awards website at pornhub.com/awards/fan-voting. Winners will be announced on March 23, 2022.

“This year, for the first time, nominees and winners alike will be receiving a cash prize in recognition of their achievements; in addition to, of course, the iconic Peter Saville designed awards statuette,” said a Pornhub Awards Mascot Mr. Banana. “We are also thrilled to be further supporting the advocacy efforts of two key wide-reaching organizations within the sex work community. After over two years of digital events and virtual get togethers, our inclination this year was to put more of the Awards budget back into the community instead of spending on another large scale, performance focused event.”

As part of the Pornhub Awards celebration, donations will be made to SWOP USA, a national social justice network focused on ending stigma and violence to those in the sex trade through education and advocacy; and APAC, the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee, an organization run by and for adult performers advocating for improved safety and working conditions within the adult entertainment industry.

“This funding will help us continue to support the community via outreach, COVID resources, public education and advocacy,” said Phoenix Calida, Communications Director at SWOP USA. “Sex workers face unique challenges, both in the fight for political rights and in the fight to end public stigma. Last year, Pornhub held its third annual awards show virtually, honoring the legendary Cicciolina with a Lifetime Achievement Award, and featuring performances from Ozuna, City Girls, Kitty Ca$h, Jordan Firstman and more. Previous shows took place in Los Angeles, honoring the top adult stars and featuring performances from Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, Bad Bunny and more.
