Nous avions lancé un appel à notre communauté afin d’identifier ce trophée ailé, le « Flying Pénis » que nous avions apercu au détour de nos pérégrinations sur le web … En ce début 2022, nous avons enfin mis un nom sur la cérémonie associée à cette sublime statuette … les Sexual Freedom Awards … les « Trophées de la Liberté Sexuelle » !

Les Sexual Freedom Awards sont un événement britannique annuel qui récompense les réalisations dans les industries de la sexualité et de l’érotisme dans le monde entier.

Fondés en 1994 par le militant Tuppy Owens, les prix ont d’abord été appelés les « Erotic Oscars« , jusqu’à ce que le nom doive être changé pour des raisons juridiques. Ils ont été alors appelés les « Erotic Awards » de 2002 à 2013, date à laquelle ils sont devenus ce que l’on appelle maintenant les « Sexual Freedom Awards ». La cérémonie de remise des prix est un événement annuel à Londres au « Sex Maniacs Ball« .

Les Sexual Freedom Awards ont 21 catégories de prix. Les nominations viennent du public, et 3 finalistes dans chaque catégorie sont ensuite sélectionnés par le « Grand Jury de la sensualité ostentatoire » !!! Les gagnants sont annoncés lors de la cérémonie. Tous les lauréats reçoivent le trophée … le « Flying Penis« .

The Sexual Freedom Awards is an annual British event that honors achievement in the sexuality and erotica industries worldwide.

Founded in 1994 by campaigner Tuppy Owens, the awards were first called the « Erotic Oscars« , until the name had to be changed for legal reasons. They were called the « Erotic Awards » from 2002 until 2013 when they become what is now known as the “Sexual Freedom Awards”. The awards ceremony is an annual event in London held at the « Sex Maniacs Ball« .

The Sexual Freedom Awards had 21 award categories including « Campaigner », « Sex Worker », « Striptease Artist », « Fashion », « Academic », « Writer », and « Film ». Nominations come from the public, and 3 finalists in each category are then selected by the « Grand Jury of Conspicuous Sensuality ». The winners are announced during the ceremony. All award winners receive the Erotic Awards’ signature trophy, the « Flying Penis« .
